An attractive panorama of the northern embankment of the Thames extending from the Western Stone Wharf to St Katherine's Docks in the East. The original selling price was 1/6d (equivalent to 7.5 pence in today's money), or free to subscribers of The Pictorial Times.

Large continuous strip view of London (16.5 x 365.7 cm), wood engraving by Henry Vizetelly folded accordion style, occasional spotting; original cloth decorated in blind, gilt to front, hinge a little loose. Overall very good.
