First edition; 8vo; photographic frontispiece of the author, 23 photographic plates from photographs taken by Waugh, folding map, 2pp publisher's ads at end, very slight browning to prelims and end leaves; publisher's blue cloth, gilt lettering to spine, with the original unclipped dustjacket, photographic image of Waugh on front panel, 45mm closed tear to upper panel (not touching text or image), somewhat frayed and chipped at edges, lightly dust-stained, else very good.
