Signed. This book was originally available to Canon Club subscribers only. It contains recent and previously unpublished photographs of Chicago together with some from his earlier series Someday Somewhere (1958) and Chicago, Chicago (1969). Japan Publishing published an English version with the title Chicago, Chicago, despite having a different selection of photographs to those published in Ishimoto's important 1969 book of the same name.
First edition, signed in the year of publication in blue ink on title-page; 4to (297 x 223 mm, 11¾ x 8¾ in); black-and-white photographs, introduction by David Travis, minor. toning to edges; photo-illustrated, adhesive-bound wrappers, silver and black, minor wear, remnants of a bookseller's label on title-page, publisher's printed cardboard slipcase, lightly toned and worn, spotting along opening, near-fine in a very good slipcase; 157, [1]pp.
