First edition, signed by the Author and dated 1936, to front free endpaper; 4to (300 x 245 mm); 22 colour illustrations and numerous black & white ones, a couple of very minor spots, else near-fine; publisher's crimson cloth, lettered in white, foxing and toning to endpapers, sun-fading to spine and upper edge, corners bumped; minor soiling, lacking dust-jacket, otherwise very good and sound.
