First edition; folio (42 x 28 cm); 51 hand-coloured copper engraved plates including title with hand-coloured vignette by Pinelli, bookplate to front pastedown, some very light scattered foxing, a touch of offsetting to reverse blanks, plates clean and bright; later half red morocco, cloth boards, spine lettered in gilt in six compartments, later endpapers, extremities slightly rubbed, upper hinge starting to split, otherwise a very good copy.
