Willy Ronis's Belleville Menilmontant was issued in two states; this is the present version, illustrated with a drawing by Claude Artaud on the cover with the publisher's printed wraparound band and rhodoid dust-jacket.
First edition, presentation copy inscribed in black ink on the second leaf; 4to (272 x 218 mm, 10¾ x 8½ in); black-and-white photographs printed in gravure, minor toning to edges, small stain on fore-edge, spotting on top edge; illustrated paper-covered boards, light toning, publisher's printed yellow wraparound band, minor fading to spine, and original rhodoid dust-jacket, near-fine; [xxxii], 88, [10]pp.
